CorporateRP Posted August 28, 2009 Posted August 28, 2009 Sure, you'll say use the ATTOUT/ATTIN command, which works great, I'll admit.... BUT! What if you are using a block attachment "inside" a multileader? AutoCAD doesn't seem to recognize the existence of those blocks, so ATTOUT/ATTIN don't work. DATA EXTRACTION only seems to extract. If I update a number in a cell of the extracted table, the corresponding block value overrules and erases my update, or it just ignores it. I've also tried exploding the multileader, the blocks can now use ATTOUT/ATTIN, but the leader is exploded into a line and a triangle - that's not good! This question has been sitting for a week on the AutoCAD forums - unanswered. I've also tried to save down to 2000, but it still recognizes the multileaders. Any help or thoughts? Quote
CorporateRP Posted September 29, 2009 Author Posted September 29, 2009 I think I may have figured out one work-around, ditch multileader altogether and make a dynamic block with a custom "leader." I lose the styles but at least I can always modify the block, and I should be able to import, export freely. Quote
