Hi I work for a company that produces precast plank (4'-0" pieces) and for each individual plank on a job, we have to make a detail sheet that we print on 8 1/2 by 14 paper. On an average job, there is around 50 to 100 detail sheets. Currently we are drawing these in CAD model space because it is easy to get dimensions right off the plank in the drawing floor plan.
It is a pain when we go to print because we have to keep doing a window on each plot around each detail sheet.
I dont think paperspace would be any easier because I don't think you can print them off all at once.
Does anyone have any suggestions or ideas on an easier way to do detail sheets?

you can print all the tabs at once, i think the limit of tabs is 32 but i'm not sure

you can plot all layouts awith one command: file>publish...then just choose which layouts you wish to plot

i often have tens of sheets i need to plot and this method has been time saving :)

max is right. publish is thee command. the only stipulation for it to work correctly is that you have to have a 'page setup' assigned to each layout. otherwise, they may come out chopped on one end.

The key to doing it right the first time is to make 'layout 1' the way you would want it to be on every one and then copy that layout over and over.
