CadMoud
I have a strange problem in AutoCAD. When I have to specify a point for drafting or selecting some objects by mouse, AutoCAD cancels the command immediately!!! I must repeat the command 2 or 3 times! I've changed my mouse and reinstalled AutoCAD 2010 and 2009! Now, I have no idea for this problem. Have you ever heard about it? Dose anybody know anything about it! nukecad
Look at your PICKFIRST and PICKADD variable settings? (Although from what you describe, if it works after 2 or 3 tries this may not be the problem). PS. There is usually no need to post a question twice in different forums, it will show up in new posts whatever forum you put it in.
CadMoud
I've checked them (PICKFIRST and PICKADD variable settings) but AutoCAD does not work well! The problem is, for a little stretch I have to run this command 3 time and if it works when I select some object, something cancel the command again! it really socks
Tiger
If you look at the commandline, does it say anything there about what's happening?
ReMark
Do you have a problem in any other program using your mouse? This happens in both versions of AutoCAD (2009 and 2010)? When did the problem first occur? Did you check your mouse settings? Do you have another mouse available that could be substituted for your present mouse? CadMoud
Tiger! I said "Cancel". Remark! yeah I've checked them all! I think my windows registry changed by Trojan but I'm not sure.
ReMark
What makes you think it is a Trojan? Did you create a Restore point any time prior to the time you think this Trojan got downloaded? Have you tried the Repair option for AutoCAD? Did you happen to use any Registry cleaning software lately? If so, did it create an Undo file like the old RegClean program used to do?
