maxwku Posted September 15, 2009 Posted September 15, 2009 I have an AutoCAD, and its primary units are in architectural (feet and inches). When I try to draw a line by selecting “polyline” and then typing in the length of the line in the command window “34” (I want 34 feet) the line comes out as 2’-10”. I understand that it is taking my 34, which I type in the command line, as inches (34” = 2’-10”). How and where can I change that to take the numeric values in the command line as feet? Quote
maxwku Posted September 15, 2009 Author Posted September 15, 2009 Hey that worked! Out of curiosity why is it doing that? Normally I wouldn’t have to type …’ for it to take the numeric values as footage. Is there an options that can change that? Quote
chelsea1307 Posted September 15, 2009 Posted September 15, 2009 Change your units from inches to feet Quote
