I have an AutoCAD, and its primary units are in architectural (feet and inches). When I try to draw a line by selecting “polyline” and then typing in the length of the line in the command window “34” (I want 34 feet) the line comes out as 2’-10”. I understand that it is taking my 34, which I type in the command line, as inches (34” = 2’-10”). How and where can I change that to take the numeric values in the command line as feet?

Hey that worked! Out of curiosity why is it doing that? Normally I wouldn’t have to type …’ for it to take the numeric values as footage. Is there an options that can change that?
