exporting multiple easting and northings

Hello all,

i'm after a little help, i have a localised drawing of a building which i have put offsets for all the walls on the drawing, as there are over 150 walls to off set is there a quick way for extracting the easting and northings for all these points and saving them to notepad to save the painstaking task of writing by hand to input n a totalstation.

All help would be appreciated.

Could you post an example?

It's more than possible, but w/o a little more direction, a lot of time could be wasted.

Thanks eldon, i found ordy on the site you said, it's doing exactly what i wanted to do, however do you know of another program that doesn't print the northings and eastings on the drawing but still leaves the point number?

thanks for all the help

Now that you have got a lisp that does more than you want it to, perhaps this is a good time to try and understand the programming. You will find a strategically placed semi-colon can work wonders.

I am sure Lee Mac wrote something that does not write coordinates, but just the Point number. Try a search for PT2F (Point to file).
