DAVE OWENS Posted September 23, 2009 Posted September 23, 2009 I am using AutoCAD 2008 lite at the office. I know that it doesn't have the bells & whistles as the full version (which I would have if it was up to me). I can draw isometrics with no problem, but is there a way of shading with the lite program? Thank You, Dave Quote
ReMark Posted September 23, 2009 Posted September 23, 2009 Not via the program itself. You would have to "fake" it somehow. Comparison Matrix for 2008 full and LT: http://cad.amsystems.com/products/docs/autocad-2008-autocad-2008-lt-comparison_matrix.pdf Quote
Coosbaylumber Posted September 23, 2009 Posted September 23, 2009 I think that is one feature that was purposely left out of LT in order to keep on cheaper side. Most work in LT is aimed at 2D development. You may have gotten a bit further than they intended for you to go. Wm. Quote
