alanjt Posted September 24, 2009 Posted September 24, 2009 Can you add another layer to the table? Did you not notice how close the legs are to the center, it would fall over. LoL Quote

jimmyclou Posted September 24, 2009 Author Posted September 24, 2009 I am trying to create a school timetable. The table tool on AutoCAD 2009(like an Excel grid) would be ideal if I could enter the information about each year group in its own layer. Basically I want information on the grid to be built up in layers. Can this be done on an AutoCAD 'table' (grid) Quote

You could make 12 tables and put each one on its own layer and put them one on top of the other. If you have Excel I would use that instead of AutoCAD. Quote
jimmyclou Posted September 25, 2009 Author Posted September 25, 2009 Thanks. I will try placing the tables one on top of the other. At present the timetable is made up using an ancient Mac running Macdraw Pro. I want to create something equivalent on a PC. If AutoCAD tables could cope with layers it would come close to what Macdraw pro can do. Quote
