I am searching a program to convert AVI file to TV screen format.
Additional requests: the program must be for free and cost nothing.
Any help will be appreciated.

What do you mean with TV screen format? Do you mean SVCD-format for DVD-players?

And why is this question asked in this forum section?

Well you need to OUTPUT it onto video tape, eg VHS, using an output card that connects to the video.

I have an ATI 32mb RAGE Fury PRO video card, with S Video, Phono outpout ports. I can also watch TV on my pc with this. So it's VIDEO in and Video OUT.

You can get free software of the web to put it on tape. I once ran a game NEED for SPEED and just pressed record on the vhs recorder as it was connected to the S Video port on my card and it recorded fine.
