SFire Posted October 7, 2009 Posted October 7, 2009 I want to insert my company logo on my title block that I have. I am wondering how to size it right so that it will fit in the area that I want it to. I have a .jpg file that I want to insert it says the size is 923 x 617. Just wondering if someone can help me shrink it down to fit. Quote
alanjt Posted October 7, 2009 Posted October 7, 2009 Just use the scale (with reference) command. Quote
SFire Posted October 7, 2009 Author Posted October 7, 2009 Does it matter if the background of the logo is white? Quote
SFire Posted October 7, 2009 Author Posted October 7, 2009 now that I am looking at it there is a black border around it. Any help with getting rid of that Quote
alanjt Posted October 7, 2009 Posted October 7, 2009 now that I am looking at it there is a black border around it. Any help with getting rid of that Set imageframe to 2. If I were you, I would use something like Adobe Illustrator to convert my image to a dxf. Much cleaner. Quote
SFire Posted October 8, 2009 Author Posted October 8, 2009 I tried setting the imageframe to 2 but that didn't take the border away. In the model space the logo has a white background and then the logo itself is black and in the layout the black border shows Quote
AJSmith Posted October 8, 2009 Posted October 8, 2009 if you want rid of the border set the imageframe to 0 Quote
SFire Posted October 8, 2009 Author Posted October 8, 2009 that didnt seem to work either. does it have to do with the way that I brought the .jpg in?? Quote
alanjt Posted October 8, 2009 Posted October 8, 2009 if you want rid of the border set the imageframe to 0 By setting imageframe to 2, you will be able to see the frame and move/alter the image, but the border will not print. 0: Border will not display and can't move image. 1: Border displays and can move image. Tankman Posted October 8, 2009 Posted October 8, 2009 Scale the image, put the image where you want to, then remove the border (frame). I do this all the time. Quote
