Constraining holes on a circular feature.

I want to place a threaded hole on the face of a circular piece.

How do I constrain the hole in the X direction?
I have a flat, so I can constrain the hole in the Y direction, but I was hoping that I could pick the origin to constrain the hole in the X direction, but I am having a little trouble.
Any advice?

I figured out a way of doing this.
I created a sketch on the face and then put a point on the sketch.
I was able to dimension the hole to the point.
At first I was trying to make the holes without the sketch step, and it wasn't working on a circular part. I think I can do it on a rectangular part though?

depending on how your inital part was drawn you can use linear dimensions from the default origin. This would work great if your part was drawn around this point. As you found out you can also create a sketch. You could have drawn circles in the sketch and i believe on the drop down box where it says Linear you can use concentric rather than on point.

Yes project the centre point (assuming you start ur model from the centre point). Then u can project lines u need or just dimension from the centre point.
