JCP Posted October 22, 2009 Posted October 22, 2009 Hi, I've been using AutoCad 2009 since in was launched and today something strange happened. I must have hit a button by mistake and the ribbon "un-docked" from the top of the screen. now I can't make it go back. I have tried right clicking on the ribbon but both the options "size" and "move" are showing grey and don't allow me to select them. Also i beive that normally you can just drag it into position, but it won't let me do that either. Any ideas? Quote
ReMark Posted October 22, 2009 Posted October 22, 2009 I'm assuming you still have access to the Menu Browser (big red letter A) right. Access Options then go to the Profiles tab. Switch to a different Profile. Then see if you can push the Ribbon back up into position. Quote
GE13579 Posted October 22, 2009 Posted October 22, 2009 Sounds like you've locked your toolbars. There should be a padlock in the bottom right of your screen, left click, then go All>Unlocked. You should then be able to drag it back up. Quote
JCP Posted October 22, 2009 Author Posted October 22, 2009 Thanks "GE13579" you were correct - all fixed now... (I am such a dick) Quote

Glen Smith Posted October 22, 2009 Posted October 22, 2009 Nah he said it right, your monitors are just missing some pixels, he said he is such a c.l.i.c.k You are missing the white space between the C and the L. He clicked on the wrong place on the screen - giving rise to the phrase "I am such a CLICK." Glen I locked my toolbars a while ago so things wouldn't move around - then spent a good 20 minutes trying to figure out why I couldn't dock a pallet where I wanted to the next day. Quote
GE13579 Posted October 22, 2009 Posted October 22, 2009 Lol... no what he means is that he's such a Richard... PS you're welcome JCP  Quote
GE13579 Posted October 22, 2009 Posted October 22, 2009 GE: He brings good things to CADTutor. Only occasionally (when I'm not wildly wrong- Glen can vouch for me on that!) Quote
