I used to be able to publish all of the tabs in paper space to both PDF and from the plotter fine. Then one day it decided that it was only going to publish 1 to 3 sheets then the next second i am looking at my desk top. No error message, no option to attempt to create a recovery file, just desk top. I also learned the hard way a week later that when this happens it also turns off your Auto save every time.

If anybody has any idea how to fix this please let me know. When it used to work it took no time to print out 20 tabs chalked full of view ports but now it takes forever to plot manually switching from tab to tab and plotting.

i am using AutoCad Architecture 2008.

Thanks,
Jake

Have you added any programs or hardware to your computer? What are your computer specs? Do you publish in background? Does this happen when plotting to both your printer and pdf? are you up to date on service packs? Have you checked for hotfixes?
