How could I change the text height after I'm done with dimensions.

I go to text height and change it to what I want, but the text size is still what it was before.

Thanks

Highlight one of your dimensions, then modify properties.

Adjust the text height and, if needed arrow size.

Try match properties, click on each dimension. Does that work?

Check the Textstyle you are using for your dimensions and make sure it's height is set to 0. Then you will be able to adjust the dimension text height in your Dimstyle.

Remark,

I don't know the answer to your question.

Tankman,

That's exactly how I try to changr the text size. I change it, but I dont see any difference in appearance (size) of the text.

Cad64,

It's not possible to set the height to 0. It says " Value must be positive".

Whatever Text style you are using for your dimensions, change that value to 0 in your Text style Manager. Once you change the value of the Text style you are using for your dimensions, then you can adjust the height in your Dimension Style.

Thank you very much, now I got it.

OK...my mistake. I forgot you're using 2004.

naghshe: Did you happen to set a fixed text height using the STYLE command? Maybe you recall typing STYLE at the command line and when the Text Style Manager (as mentioned by Cad64) came up you saw the options for Font name, Font style and Height and put something there?

Yes, I do that because I want to have a set height for all my texts.

Apparently if I set it to 0 I can change it to whatever I want.
