Rudbeckia Posted November 3, 2009 Posted November 3, 2009 hello all, when i scale my drawing in paperspace, all my leaders and leader wording disappears. I can still see the leaders and wording when i go back to model but not in paperspace anyone ever had this happen? Quote

If they are annotative, just unlock your viewport, then reset the scale to whatever it was. It will 'refresh' everything. I have this happen all the time. Quote
Rudbeckia Posted November 3, 2009 Author Posted November 3, 2009 so i cant have them show up in the scale i want to use? Quote
alanjt Posted November 3, 2009 Posted November 3, 2009 so i cant have them show up in the scale i want to use? Yes, just RESET the scale. If it's 1" = 30', set it to 1" = 30'. Quote
Rudbeckia Posted November 3, 2009 Author Posted November 3, 2009 when you say reset, you mean just choose the scale again? or reset the scales to the deafult list and then choose again? i tried both ways and they are still not there Quote

Rudbeckia Posted November 3, 2009 Author Posted November 3, 2009 no i am trying to scale in paperspace i thought model was always 1:1 unless changed Quote
alanjt Posted November 3, 2009 Posted November 3, 2009 no i am trying to scale in paperspace i thought model was always 1:1 unless changed It is, but you have to set a scale for your text, blocks, etc. Quote
Rudbeckia Posted November 3, 2009 Author Posted November 3, 2009 okay so I need to reset the scale in the multileader manager? Quote
Rudbeckia Posted November 3, 2009 Author Posted November 3, 2009 what if i just turn of annotative Quote
alanjt Posted November 4, 2009 Posted November 4, 2009 The objects must have the specific scale in their Annotative scale list. The easiest thing is to go into model, turn on ANNOAUTOSCALE, then set to the scale you want. Once you've done that, go into paperspace and set the viewport to the scale you want. Quote
Rudbeckia Posted November 4, 2009 Author Posted November 4, 2009 that worked!! but now the multi leaders are HUGE like twice as big as the drawing, but i can see them but they are not scaling correctly Quote
alanjt Posted November 4, 2009 Posted November 4, 2009 that worked!! but now the multi leaders are HUGE like twice as big as the drawing, but i can see them but they are not scaling correctly Glad you got it. Sounds like Annotative style settings. Annotative objects are really great, but equally stupid. I hate them as much as I love them. Quote
Rudbeckia Posted November 4, 2009 Author Posted November 4, 2009 okay so is there a way to turn them all off so it will just scale to whatever i set, instead of being huge? annotative just means it scales itself right? Quote

It's all based on the text/dimension style. Post an example drawing, it's difficult to explain w/o seeing your problem first hand. Quote
