MisterJingles Posted November 5, 2009 Posted November 5, 2009 Hi all I need to save a drawing Im working on but when I try to it gives me the following error... WARNING: An error occurred during save. We recommend that you run RECOVER on the drawing. Problem is, I do the RECOVER but the "recovered" drawing it gives me is a very old revision of this drawing. How can I save without this message popping up? Regards Rob Quote
ReMark Posted November 5, 2009 Posted November 5, 2009 Have you tried to WBlock out what you see on your screen? Quote
MisterJingles Posted November 5, 2009 Author Posted November 5, 2009 No. Ok it still seems to save the drawing anyway. What is the RECOVER error trying to indicate? Quote
MisterJingles Posted November 5, 2009 Author Posted November 5, 2009 Ok. And why did it dredge up a very old version of my drawing as the "recovered" drawing? What pointed it to that version? Quote
ReMark Posted November 5, 2009 Posted November 5, 2009 I do not know the inner workings of how the Recover command works. Maybe someone else can explain it to both of us. Quote
chelsea1307 Posted November 5, 2009 Posted November 5, 2009 taking a shot in the dark here, but could it be that thats the last version that didnt show any sign of the corruption? Quote
nukecad Posted November 5, 2009 Posted November 5, 2009 Shouldnt load an old version? The RECOVER command merely opens whatever drawing you select in the dialogue and performs an AUDIT as it is loading to fix any errors as it loads. Quote
