Deselect's object

Recommended Posts

I just got a newer version of autocad lt, 2009 from 2004. I used to be able to select objects then select what I want to do to them for example, erase and they would be deleted or change them to a different layer. Instead it deselects the objects and I have to select them again and it's highly annoying and I can't seem to find the right place to change it. Any help?

Type PICKFIRST at the command line, set to 1.

Dont know if this will help,

PICKADD = 0

that will allow you to shift+click select multiple objects.

PICKADD = 1

allows one object at a time to be selected.

The pickfirst fixed the problem, but then my right mouse button isn't enter any longer instead it just brings up a menu which I rarely need. Anyway to get both?

After a little more messing around, I got both to work, thanks for the help.
