Problem exporting from Max to 3ds

Hi,

I can't solve a uv mapping problem when exporting from Max to 3ds format. My textures loose its correct mapping (the cropping and placement information of the material disappear).

I'm uploading a picture of my model after importing the 3ds file (previo1) and the model as should appear (previo2)

 

Any suggestion will be appreciated

Are you using Vue xstream or Vue infinite? If you're using xstream, there's no reason to import anything into Vue. The whole purpose of xstream is so that you can integrate your Vue elements into your Max scene. But if you're using infinite, I would suggest exporting your Max model as .obj instead of .3ds. That should help with the UV problem.
