chris diver Posted November 27, 2009 Posted November 27, 2009 Is there specific "free" software that can be obtained that would enable me to take one of my existing models and create a rotating model in a pdf so that a customer can view it? i mention it as free as I am sure it has come up in converstaion with someone during the last year...but i am guessing that it is the viewer that would be free...I would imagine that I would need something like Adobe 3D design software to create the the document. This isnt a problem, just did not want design specific software. i am wondering if there are programs available that would enable me to pack my model up...and e-mail it with a program that would enable the customer to view the model, and also not see dimensions within the parts. thanks. MarkFlayler Posted November 29, 2009 Posted November 29, 2009 Don't use PDF use DWF...its free and a part of Inventor already. The viewer is also free and allows you to do so much more than the Adobe 3D. Quote

Lazer Posted November 30, 2009 Posted November 30, 2009 Very handy that free viewer, I have told a few suppliers and customers about it and they get on great with it. Quote
