Hi folks

Can I beg for some assistance?

I have been using AutoCAD for a good few years but lately I am having real trouble with drawing setup (from scratch), I am currently setting up a drawing which should be 1:50 plotted on ISO A1, I just don't know what's not working.

Example I set up the dwg, draw a box say 10m square it plots at some unknown scale, measured with a scale rule its 9.45m @1-50

So I open new acadiso.dwt

Measurement=1

Limits:

Specify lower left corner or [ON/OFF] :

Specify upper right corner :

Grid is on so I can see the effective area

Plot scale 1:1

Viewport scale (single) 1:50

I used to do this day in day out and now I Cant! age has got the better of me.

Cheers

use a layout tab is the easiest just paste in your title block at 1:1 (ours is 801x570) then create a MVIEW window zoom extents etc then you can scale it at 1:50, this also helps to see if the scale is right to fit all on a sheet.

Finally plot at 1:1 scale
