How to extract a layer and convert to jpg

Hi ,

 

What is the easiest way to extract one layer out of a dwg file and convert it to an image ?

is this even possible :?

try using the filter command to extract a certain layer.

Convert to image? What exactly are you trying to do? :huh:

What version of Autocad are you using? Please update your profile.

 

You can use the Express Tools LAYISO command to isolate a single layer and then you can print to pdf. Is that what you're after? :unsure:

LAYER WALK and JPGOUT.

 

I guess what method is easiest would depend on what version you are using ( I don't know when Layer Walk was added. LAYISO is an Express tools command and therefore not available in LT) and what commands you are used to using.
