Just Curious...CAD to Photoshop?

I havent tried yet, but my friends have - going from acad2000 to photochop 6...they said that the resolution wasnt very good. it came out really bad. the size of the drawing from acad was 1381kb...what kind of adjustments should i have to make if i decide to go from acad2004 to photoshop7, with the same size drawing?
