gotchy Posted December 10, 2009 Posted December 10, 2009 I sometimes import or cut and paste a picture into Autocad 2000 to trace the profile mechanically so that I can draw perfect arcs, straight lines, etc, and save as a dwg file. I seem to have forgotten how to separate, or get rid of the imported picture from my sketch lines. If someone could help me out on this I would appreciate it. gotchy Quote

Cad64 Posted December 10, 2009 Posted December 10, 2009 Depending on how you inserted the image will determine how you should remove it. If you cut and pasted the image, then it was inserted as an OLE object, so you can just select it and delete it. Just make sure your OLEFRAME variable is set to 1 or 2. But if you inserted the image using the IMAGEATTACH command, deleting it will not remove it from the drawing. You need to open the Image Manager and Detach the image. Quote
Maxzchea Posted July 31, 2010 Posted July 31, 2010 hi~ is there any possible way to import some picture and generate the geometry from tat picture??? if someone could answer me this, it would be appreciated. Quote
CAD Library Posted August 2, 2010 Posted August 2, 2010 I usually do the raster image file.... after I traced the image, I'd simply select it then push delete. Quote
