nida Posted December 15, 2009 Posted December 15, 2009 this website says that while selecting an object,it generally happens that there are many objects lying closeby or overlapping the required object..in such a case,the following is recommended: If you make a pick whilst holding the Control (Ctrl) key down, AutoCAD will respond with "". If you continue to pick, each object near the pick point is highlighted in rotation. Just keep picking until the object you want is highlighted, then right-click or , AutoCAD responds "", the required object is added to the selection set and you can continue to select more objects as normal. but this command isnt working in my autocad..what do i do? I know in 2010 you start a command, place the cursor over the objects, press and hold shift, then hit space bar until the one you want is highlighted, release the shift key and pick with the mouse.
