PRASHANT Posted December 26, 2009 Posted December 26, 2009 i am an 3d artist i have some designs in my mind how to create an autocad plan for my design Quote
fuccaro Posted December 26, 2009 Posted December 26, 2009 What do you mean by "autocad plan"? Are you trying to plot a front/side/top view of a 3D model? Maybe you wish to place some drawings on a sheet with borders and title data box? Please be more specific. Welcome in the forum! Quote
PRASHANT Posted January 28, 2010 Author Posted January 28, 2010 yes i wanted to create a paper plan of my design but i dont now where to add pillars and at what distance and there number . i hope you understand me Quote
fuccaro Posted January 28, 2010 Posted January 28, 2010 Well, AutoCAD is not a program to just install and go with it. You should learn it first. Anyway, if you have a model in 3D Studio Max, export it first in DWG or in DXF format. Open it in AutoCAD and create 2D drawings. Go to the Lyout and place the 2D views. Add dimensions, borders... This is the way. I think you should start working and post here your questions you come across. Quote
