Hi folks,

I am currently trying to import autocad2002 files into photoshop6.0 in order to prep the images for a pagemaker document. In the cadtutor tutorial (EPS) section, the instructions call for a post script plotter. What is that, and more specifically, I intend on printing the document on my home lexmark z52 printer. Can any one clear this process up for me??

Gratefully,

The post script plotter is a dummy plotter configuration. It is used simply to create the EPS file, the plotter itself does not exist. The tutorial at http://www.cadtutor.net/acad/acad2ki/atop/psplot.html in conjunction with the one you've already seen should give you all the details you need to create high quality EPS files from AutoCAD.

None of this has any effect on the printer you intend to print the final document on.
