midnightcowboy64 Posted January 18, 2010 Posted January 18, 2010 Help me please, i am a new user of the cad programs and am trying to attach a jpeg of a map i made onto the 3d terrain i created in KTF. The Jpeg is ready and so is the KTF file, I have just forgotten how to get the Jpeg into KTF, I think it has something to do with the render tab? Any help, I'd be extremely grateful Quote
midnightcowboy64 Posted January 18, 2010 Author Posted January 18, 2010 KTF is Key Terra Firma which is part of the autoCAD programme. It allows you to design and draw landscape contours. You can use Photoshop in conjuction with Key Terra Firma so as to render and add overlays of additional scenary such as trees, lakes or roads, paths. I gather you don't use KTF where you come from then? Quote
Cad64 Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 Yes, I know what key terra firma is, but I've never used it so I wouldn't automatically associate KTF with it. It's usually best to type out the full name of the program you're using at least once within your question so that everyone knows exactly what you're talking about. After that you can use the abbreviation. So to clarify, you are trying to insert the jpg into KTF, correct? Not into Autocad? Quote
midnightcowboy64 Posted January 19, 2010 Author Posted January 19, 2010 Yes exactly, you'll have to excuse me I have'nt used this forum before and neither have I used KTF or autoCAD, I'm very new to it all:oops: Quote
