hi! i'm back for more questions? I already start my first drawing by cad2002. I set the unit in architecture, and draw 1:1 scale. i want to make sure that i have the right concept of drawing in cad. so, drawing in 1:1, by choosing english or metric from start from scratch. then, specify demension from unit dialog box. please help me to clarify that i have right or wrong concept?

The idea is to draw in real world sizes in modelspace. i.e if its 1000mm draw it in 1000. then in paperspace or what is now known as layout tab, you set up a viewport in the layout tab, in a word, the layout tab is alot like looking thru a window at the object and your viewport is the glass in the window.
You then adjust the scale of the viewport. this does not affect the objects, only the view of the objects.
