AQucsaiJr Posted January 28, 2010 Posted January 28, 2010 I am trying to match the properties of my text between a couple drawings and I can't seem to figure out what I am missing. The DWG I have attached has both the text in it. By my check of the properties, both text appear to be the same, but if I use the match properties tool and select the lower text then match it with the upper, the text size gets visibly larger to the eye but not in the properties... What gives? I believe the styles are the same, unless I am missing something. Text Issue.dwg Quote
lpseifert Posted January 28, 2010 Posted January 28, 2010 I tried Matchprop from the lower text to the upper, it changed on screen and in properties to a height of 0.0737 Quote
AQucsaiJr Posted January 29, 2010 Author Posted January 29, 2010 Ya... On mine it changes from 1/8 to 1/8 and looks bigger. Quote
GettinBetter(work) Posted January 29, 2010 Posted January 29, 2010 Are the borders the same size/scale? I think you know where I'm going with this.... Quote
AQucsaiJr Posted January 29, 2010 Author Posted January 29, 2010 Are the borders the same size/scale? I think you know where I'm going with this.... Yes... Everything else on the drawings measures the same between the two... I believe what it is, is that the tolerance is different between the two drawings because after adjusting the tolerance in the drawing I posted, there is a difference in the heights. In the drawings I am copying from and too, there is not difference in the measurements because the tolerance is not high enough. I figured this out from lpseifert post. Quote
Nad SK Posted January 29, 2010 Posted January 29, 2010 Upper text: Height 0.0625 Lower text: Height 0.0737 Quote
AQucsaiJr Posted January 29, 2010 Author Posted January 29, 2010 Upper text: Height 0.0625Lower text: Height 0.0737 Ya this is what I get after adjusting the units.... The default units and tolerance had both the two lines at 1/8... Threw me for a loop, but got it now. Quote
