1:1 scale and then I extracted the 2d data for drawings.
Finished of with a render from Inventor Studio.
I have been using Inventor for 4 years now but Iv studio is the latest feature so iv only been playing with this for about 4 weeks, (Once a week at college).
This render was set up in 10 mins. The model took 3 hours.

Cool. I only have IV7 at home and at school, so no Studio.

Have you tried the Galvanised Steel texture/material as it may
be better for the steps.

Hi Nick. The material was a hard 1 as there is so many to choose from, in the end i went with inventors own material they have it down as PLATE 2 under format>colours>textures>choose>plate 2.

Great thing with materials is it takes 30 seconds to change it so ill give it a go and see what works best.

Maybe alittle to many shadows in there aswell do u think..?
I have taken on a high polish stainless steel look, a less shiny look might set it of better.

Try putting it in a context eg a wall across from the stairwell. And try putting in other items that will have the shadows cast on them something like a fire hydrant or such.

Is is for a job or play ?

Hi Nick,

The render its only about the 6th render I a have done in Inventor. I have used viz to render at college, so this was done in Studio for fun, give me a few months and my IV render will look much better.

Never thought of adding a background to the model, walls ect, ill look into and wonder on the outcome. :)
