I need a program that will have the true sun position. I'd like to enter the longitude, latitude, time and day of the year.

Will inventor do that?

I think it was like a separate thing, then Autodesk bought it. I sure would like a copy myself!

There is a sun position in AutoCAD - You would have to work back-and-forth between the two (AEC Exchange - Save as DWG Solids).

Cant you position a light by longitude latitude in inventor also? Thought i skimed by it one time when playing with light settings.

I know autodesk VIZ certainly has it (prob 3ds max too)
