MichaelP
Hello everyone! If someone could help me, I will be very appreciate. I have got question regarding scaling multiple objects. In my drawing I have a couple squares which I would like change size(make them smaller) - > so I think I need use -> scale option. (These squares are made form polyline) But the position cannot be changed. When I used scale option form toolbar, everything has been changed including position. I need change only size of these squares but no position. I dig this forum, looking for the similar thread but I couldn’t find. I am using AutoCAD 2010. Thank you. lpseifert
The scale command uses one basepoint, so you'll need to scale each 'square' individually.
dbroada
if they were blocks you could select them then scale them from the properties palette but not a lot you can do with polylines.

Thank you for your post. But if I make each square as I block. In command line I write block then select object -> create block and enter… Then I got block(s). In this drawing I got well, 45 objects, but If I had 4500 what I would do? Clicking one-by-one is not good idea. (and changing the scale)
dbroada
if they are all identical blocks you can use qselect to select all blocks named and use the properties palette. alternatively if they were all identical blocks you could redefine the block to the new size and keep them all at 1:
Tankman
Scale each block as required or, scale the entire drawing using 0,0 as the base point. Scale in properties or, highlight each entity, and scale individually. Welcome to the forums Michael!
edwinprakoso
How about creating an annotative block, and change the annotation scale? This will scale up the whole blocks on individual base point...
