coolcadzero Posted February 21, 2010 Posted February 21, 2010 Hi i do want to combine the spheres to look like a 3D football. While doing so spheres got merged to another sphere's centre or some other points.. could anyone help me in this regard... I am completely out of this field(CAD) of Concentration Thanks Quote
ReMark Posted February 21, 2010 Posted February 21, 2010 Why have you decided on this particular approach (using spheres)? Have you tried setting up some type of reference grid? How are you currently locating the spheres? Quote
coolcadzero Posted February 23, 2010 Author Posted February 23, 2010 @ QM Thanks for the rep I want to create a simple cluster of spheres... Currently am using mouse to place spheres over a big sphere so that it look like a cluster... Sometimes Spheres go into the big sphere thats where the actual probe begins Quote
ReMark Posted February 23, 2010 Posted February 23, 2010 Sounds like you could use some reference lines (temporarily) to locate the smaller spheres around the larger sphere. Or you could try point filters but with a sphere this might be more of a challenge. I'm "old school" so reference lines would be my choice. Quote
coolcadzero Posted February 24, 2010 Author Posted February 24, 2010 Thanks for ur Suggestion am half the way thro wen i finish that one i will render and show u the result Quote
ReMark Posted February 24, 2010 Posted February 24, 2010 You're welcomed coolcadzero. Looking forward to seeing the final results. Quote
coolcadzero Posted February 24, 2010 Author Posted February 24, 2010 Here is my last doubt... watever i render it comes in a black background.... i need to change that to white one i changed the values in render props but no effect takes place Quote
JD Mather Posted February 24, 2010 Posted February 24, 2010 Type Options and hit Enter. Look around a bit - you will find the option to change the background. Quote
ReMark Posted February 24, 2010 Posted February 24, 2010 cool: We're talking about the background one sees when a render is done right? Quote
ReMark Posted February 24, 2010 Posted February 24, 2010 Maybe this is what you want. Command line: View. Up pops the View Manager. Click on the New button (to the right). On the New View / Shot Properties dialog window look towards the bottom where it says Background. Your choices in the drop-down list will be Default (black), Solid, Gradient and Image. Quote
