Enigma
I would like to know if it's possible to turn off the block "high lighting" feature in cad. High lighting is perhaps the wrong term, as toggling that command turns off the appearance of objects that have been selected to be deleted, moved, etc. What I want to get rid of is the annoying feature that first seemed to show up in v2007, where your cursor drags and slows over blocks as they flash, or "high light". It drives me insane! Found it! Config, selection, then in the area for visual settings turn off the 2 ticked boxes about 'when command active and not active'. Glen Smith
I think what you are looking for is Tools - Options - Selection - Selection Preview. I have both tick boxes turned off and don't get the behavior you are talking about. You can also click the Vicual effect settings button and further refine how this works.
