Lugia Posted March 7, 2010 Posted March 7, 2010 Hello there everyone. I have an image that I did convert into vector and then exported as DXF for opening it with Autocad 2009. The image itself has a scale, like |----| 10m, so I need to know using this reference how can I modify the complete file acording to this scale. Hope my post is understandable since english is not my native and some topics are even harder. Thanks in advance. Quote
kencaz Posted March 7, 2010 Posted March 7, 2010 Try using the "Reference" option in the "Scale" command. Use a 10m line as your ref point: KC Quote
Lugia Posted March 7, 2010 Author Posted March 7, 2010 Thanks a lot kencaz, I've a little problem now, the building will take more than 125 meters for one side, but the default canvas for both acad and acadiso template files seems to be quite smaller, what's the way to getting a bigger canvas? kencaz Posted March 7, 2010 Posted March 7, 2010 Use the "Zoom" command and the "All" option and you should see the whole building. KC Quote
wclement Posted March 9, 2010 Posted March 9, 2010 FYI- Thanks to all who answered this person's question, because it also answered mine as well. I've been fighting this one for a LONG time. I had it shown to me once a long time back and for the life of me, I couldn't figure out how to do it again. Thanks Again! Quote
