ILoveMadoka Posted March 12, 2010 Posted March 12, 2010 Often when opening a drawing that was converted from Solidworks (2009) Autocad 2009 gives a warning that the drawing was created in another application and asks if the user still wants to open the file. Is there any way to make that go away? It doesn't bother me the very first time a drawing is opened, but it seems to happen over and over even after a drawing has been opened, edit and has been saved again and again. PLEASE help!! Thanks!! Quote
Fire Alarm Posted March 12, 2010 Posted March 12, 2010 Have you tried resaving the drawing as another file to see if that would work? Quote
Cad64 Posted March 12, 2010 Posted March 12, 2010 That warning should only display once, when you open the drawing. It should not pop up again and again. And it certainly shouldn't pop up again after you've saved the drawing in Autocad. Isn't there a little tick box at the bottom of the warning window that says something like "Always open DWG files regardless of origin". Quote
ChristinaSeay Posted March 22, 2010 Posted March 22, 2010 I had this same thing happen and I never could figure it out either. Quote
