The Nickster Posted March 22, 2010 Posted March 22, 2010 Hey guys I'm having some trouble with MEP 2009 once again. In AutoCAD when you insert a JPEG or Bitmap it will sometimes default to where you cannot select the attribute you inserted. This is easily fixed by clicking the "Modify" menu => Attrubute => Single. MEP 2009 does not have a "Modify" menu to do this. Is there any way to fix this problem so that I can select an inserted object to 'modify' it? Keep in mind that none of these objects are on a locked layer. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Quote
Arizona Posted March 23, 2010 Posted March 23, 2010 Um.....a JPEG or Bitmap is a Image, and it can't have "attributes". An attribute is contained in a Block (a drwaing file, dwg) and is like a text variable that you can change without 'exploding' the block. They are also exportable, making them great for spreadsheet use. It sounds like you bring in an image, then can not select it. If that is the case, type IMAGEFRAME and set it to 1. Then you will be able to select the image. The "frame" will plot, so to turn it off before plotting, set IMAGEFRAME back to 0. Quote
The Nickster Posted March 25, 2010 Author Posted March 25, 2010 good work Arizona! _imageframe was the fix for it! Thank you!!! Quote
The Nickster Posted March 25, 2010 Author Posted March 25, 2010 P.S. Sorry for the confusion with "attributes" i know images can't have attributes like text added to them... Quote
