pierce65 Posted March 22, 2010 Posted March 22, 2010 I've been trying to print a drawing and noticed that it will only include the parts of my title block within the vport. It will print any text outside of the vport, but if it is a line such as a border it will not print. The text and border lines are both on the same layer. This problem only seems to exist on two of the three tabs for this particular drawing. For a quick fix I just expanded the vport to include everything in my pspace. I am using 2006 and I am also fairly new to AutoCAD and dont have a clue how to fix this. I appreciate any help, Thanks! Quote
Pablo Ferral Posted March 22, 2010 Posted March 22, 2010 Try changing the layer your viewport is on. If this works for you tell me why! It worked for me on a colleages drawing the other day, but I haven' had the time to investigate... Quote
BIGAL Posted March 25, 2010 Posted March 25, 2010 We always go the other way the title block is always in paperspace not in the view port then view ports are scaled not the title which remains 1;1 Quote
pierce65 Posted March 25, 2010 Author Posted March 25, 2010 Pablo-I tried changing the layer my viewport was on but haven't had any luck. Bigal-We also keep our title block in paper space. The issue is that nothing (except for text) in paperspace will print, unless it is in the viewport box. In other words when I print all i see are the contents of my viewport and all text for my title block (which is in paperspace). What I do not see are the title block lines and any logos inlcuded with my title block. This problem has only occured in this drawing, and in only two of the three tabs to this drawing. Thanks for the replies! Quote
