AutoCAD queries......about "unexplode"

Hi all,

I used explode command for better viewing of an autocad drawing.

is there any option to revert back the drawing (except undo option)?

Bcos the same query, i am facing in the case of drawing a car in autocad. How to make all the individual lines in to one object, so that i can copy at n number of places...

can anyone give me the solution,

There is no "unexplode" command if that if what you are asking.

I would create a Block called "car" or "auto" or "vehicle" and then insert this block into a drawing as many times as you need it. You could also use WBlock (writes block to hard drive as a dwg file) then it can be inserted in any drawing you want.

The other option in the Group command.

I'd go with Block.

is your car drawn in 2d? you can use PEDIT and join you lines.

I think the OP will still have to block the car out as he states...

"...so that i can copy at n number of places..."

But it wouldn't hurt to use Pedit to consolidate things first.

I fixed that "double post" thing.

My bad.I did not see that. And i agree with you Remark, making your car as a block will do the job. ;-)
