layer control within viewports

using 2002...how can i keep all layers turned on in the model but have a different set turned on for each viewport...i currently am turning them on and off manually every time i print say the landscape plan vs. electrical plans vs. grading plan. An answer to this may just change my life!!!:shock:

in your layer manager when you're in the selected vport click on the freeze or thaw of the selected layer

While in PS, make a viewport current, open layer manager, look to the right for VPfreeze column, pick the icon to freeze layers there. Also, if you have Express Tools use the Layiso command while in the viewport, pick an object on a layer you want to freeze. I assume 2002 had these options, it has been a while since using that release.

click on the vport you want and its the current one

yeah yeah...just figured this out using vplayer....can't believe i never figured this out before....my life just got a hell of a lot easier:D

Double click inside the vport boundary, or pick the Paper button at the bottom of the screen, pick inside the vport boundary.

The Express Tool command is LAYFRZ...
