Netminder Posted March 31, 2010 Posted March 31, 2010 I noticed that AutoDesk Inventor 2011 has hit the shelves. Does anyone know if 2010 has seen a price drop or where to go to get the best deal on 2010 Pro suite? I would be upgrading from Mechanical Desktop 2008 if that would help the price any. I am located in southeast Alabama. Thanks! Quote

Lazer Posted March 31, 2010 Posted March 31, 2010 You should be looking at 2011 release, much better..OPPS just noticed you wanted 2010?, why when 2011 is just round the corner, 2010 will not be reduced in price as it's one price only. Quote
pinco pallino Posted March 31, 2010 Posted March 31, 2010 Years ago as Netminder I too looked at the possibility to buy a cheep IV and found second hand programmes on e-bay. I wasn't sure about licensing and never bought it. I'd love to find a cheep way out my self to up grade to IV 2010. thou not being the latest would be by far better then the 4 Y old IV I have now. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated Quote
Netminder Posted April 1, 2010 Author Posted April 1, 2010 My theory was that when they bring in the new Inventor they would reduce the price of the old - you know, like an automotive dealer drops the price on the 2010 models when the 2011 models come out. Silly me. I too am wary about buying the Inventor packages from online (i.e. e-bay, amazon, etc). I know one who did and she found out it was a 30-day trial version. Ouch. Any details on discounts, special pricing, etc, would be appreciated. Thanks. Quote
