Coosbaylumber
Got some drawing LIMITS problem now. The other day received a Turbocad drawing, and began the conversion in to Autocad format. Linework and text now looks sort of normal, except that the limits control flat does not work while in or out of the drawing. It always draws to the drawing extents, and not the assigned numerical limits. This oddbal drawing limts situation has not affected any other standard Autocad drawing. The author of the drawing does not know exact version of Turbo used to which things were made in, 'cept he is in Chicago, and they use the same version at work as he has at home. I think he did them maybe in 2008, 2006 or earlier. Did the author make a mistake or have I then? For have pulled every trick I know of here. Wm. ReMark
What does it matter? As far as the version of TurboCAD the guy is using ask him to look in his program (I'm assuming it is a Windows based program and not DOS) for the existence of an "About" command. That should tell him what ersion he's running.
