My question is about the units.I have a drawing where 1 unit is 1 mm, so for example one of the laws of the house is 6997.4050 units, but I want to turn it to be 6.9974050 units or 1 unit to be 1 m. dbroada Posted April 3, 2010 Posted April 3, 2010 you have correctly worked out that AutoCAD draws in units which don't themselves have a size. By changing units you don't alter the size of the drawing, your item will remain 7000 units long. you need to SCALE the entire drawing by 1000. I would also change the units to m. This doesn't alter any thing but does allow you to insert parts drawn in mm with their scale automatically set. Quote
