Is there a good website that allows a user to pick channel or beam

or any other common steel structures with dims for cad drawings?

Unistrut does a good job for unistrut blocks but is there any webpages that

is good for steel structures?

With sizes? Not sure about that part.

Have you checked the similar threads below?

Imperial or Metric?

Mucky predicament? As ReMark asked, "Imperial or metric?"

Unistrut™ have used, continue to use, for many years.

I use the FRP Unistrut™ for pipe supports, made my own group drawing with many options I use most often.

Where are you posting from? Version of AutoCAD?

Both? Here's two different drawings, save 'em for future use!

Got me in the muck, cleaning files out or up.

Found this old Unistrut™ used for pipe support with the poly base plate.

Have fun, great weather on the East Coast today! :D

For Electrical Panels Hoffman does very good but for steel channels & columns I

don't know of a simular site you can pick building columes and channels etc. If you go

to unisturt they have good webpages for their products but I think you have to

down load their product liberarys.

Still looking for good sites for steel with dimensions.

Tip 1779, Cadalyst.com, provides a lisp file(s) for drawing steel shapes.

I have a great .lsp that I was told about here. Just type stl on the command-prompt to load it up, pick the steel shape you want and place the profile into your drawing.

I did a quick GoogleSearch for it and found a copy that you can download from http://structuralsteeldetailer.us/autocad.html
