Xref trouble.

I, unfortunately have to work on DataCAD while some of my co-workers have AutoCAD. :reallymad:

Anyway...

I am trying to help someone with an xref problem.

He has 2000. A client sent some drawings to us. One in particular has an xref in it. We saved the drawings in a seperate folder. Opened the drawing, opened the xref manager, selected the xref, did a browse... found the file and saved the path...
NOTHING.

It is not showing up... Any thoughts :ermm:

Ok we tried inserting it again, detatched and re-xref.

Says it is "invalid"

We tried to xref a completely different file, no problems there.

Why would this one be invalid????

Hmmmmm

The file being xref'd (or not in our case) is 26.5 MB. Is that the reason?

See if you can open the problem file. If so, try doing an audit. If not do a recover and see what happens.
Sounds like a corrupt file to me.
