If I draw 12 lines in a cube shape, how do AutoCAD recognize it as a solid?

My drawing is like that:
_
/ /|
口/

Normally, AutoCAD treats it as 12 lines. How can AutoCAD treat is as a solid?

Hello Koala, and welcome!

AutoCAD will not recognize the lines as solid. Draw a solid. Use the BOX command, or draw a rectangle (square) and use the EXTRUDE command to... extrude it.
Play around with the solids and you will discover a wonderful word.

hello,

Different Lines can be joined with each using PEdit command in AutoCad
to convert them into a single Line but they can not be converted into solids. In auto cad we have a different section for solids.

There we can draw different solids using the commands or by using drop down Menu "Draw"
In Draw Menu we have a section "Solid"
there u can find different Solids that u can Draw

E'joy drawing the solids and applying different options in then

bye

Solids are normally created by extruding or revolving regions (see the 'draw' menu).

First you need to make a closed shape

Then use the region command and select all the elements in the shape. (If you use the rectangle or circle command you can skip converting it to a region).

Then apply either the 'Extrude' or 'Revolve' commands to make the solid.

More complex solids can be created by combining solids using the 'union' and 'subtraction' commands.
