Override dimensions

Is it possible to visually see if text in a dimension has been manually over ridden without have to go to the editor or properties?

I believe your best bet is PROPERTIES.

Here you will see if the dimension is over ridden.

If not over ridden, perhaps the drawing is not to scale.

Adjust scale if needed.

Will only select Dimensions that have been edited.

(defun c:Test nil
 (sssetfirst
   nil
   (ssget "_X"
          '((-4 . "<AND") (0 . "DIMENSION") (-4 . "<NOT") (1 . "") (-4 . "NOT>") (-4 . "AND>"))
   )
 )

Nevermind, didn't need the AND.

(defun c:Test nil
 (sssetfirst
   nil
   (ssget "_X" '((0 . "DIMENSION") (-4 . "<NOT") (1 . "") (-4 . "NOT>")))
 )
 (princ)
)

You might want to download a free program from my website called ChkDims.lsp.

It will place a red circle with an X over dimensions that contain text overrides and a green box over good dimensions. It also has an option to clean up the markers.
