Hi there, I was wondering if anyone can help.

I have just upgraded to 2006 Lt and wanted to insert some os mapping as an xref for work purposes. I did everything as I normal would in 2002 version etc, then when i went to write in text etc I noticed for some reason the mapping was tiny and not to scale. I tried on a colleges computer (2005 LD) with no problem.

After searching around I think i have tracked the problem to a new option in 2006. When inserting an xref, after clicking attach and the file there is a new box called Block Units under the rotation box, this has 2 options Unit and Factor.

Please can someone tell me how i change these options so they stayed changed for the next time I open a new drawing.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Kind Regards

I had the same problem with full Autocad 2006.
its a insert unit problem, check both drawings have units set to mm or unitless.
Type in INSUNITS, you will probably find it set to 4 (inches), reset it to 0
You will need to do this in the x-ref as well.
