CADmasterFLASH
Hi there, I am trying to create a dxf file for use in Hevacomp V8i, whilst amending the drawing, and doing a zoom and extents command, i have noticed an object on my drawing which i cannot delete. All layers are turned on and and no layers are locked, yet i still cannot delete the item. Also, when i zoom into the object to see what it is, it disappears! Does anyone have any clue as to what is going on? I am using AutoCad 2006 LT if that makes any difference. Thanks in advance. Jordan
ReMark
Where did the file originate from in the first place? Did you obtain it from an outside source? Can you describe what the object looks like?
CADSKET
Hi Jordan, Maybe you should try to delete the little giblet
CADmasterFLASH
The file originated from an Architect, the drawing is of a building layout. The object appears to be 2 small red lines as far as i can see but i can't zoom in enough to make out what it actually is

ReMark
It might be a geomarker of some type. It doesn't print right?

Old Billy was right Let's kill all the lawyers, kill 'em tonight..." They never mentioned architects.

And yes cadsket, it does make me sick. Clean your drawings up!!

ReMark
A geomarker is just a nuisance to us mere AutoCAD users. If it does not show up on a print then my best advice is to ignore it.
