Attribute extraction and Fields question

Here's the jist. I am using Sheet Set Manager for a job. I created a door number block with attribute information. For the Door Schedule I created a table to extract the information. No problem. Can anyone offer me a way to "link back" to a door number? For instance, I'm in a building section and labeling a door. I want that label to extract the door number from the original block on the Floor Plan. Any ideas?

The only idea I've been able to get to work is to make a "table" with everything but that particular door number "hidden". But if I change the door number in the floor plan, it won't show up on the updated table because that number is gone. I would think something with Fields would work better but I can NOT figure one out!
