rossi_mac Posted April 30, 2010 Posted April 30, 2010 Sorry if this is the wrong place to put this but I don't know where it should go. I've been asked to supply some survey drawings as autocad drawings and as a "3D MX Genio" file. I'll be honest it's not anything I am too sure about. Any pointers would be grateful! Thanks Rossi Quote
eldon Posted April 30, 2010 Posted April 30, 2010 GENIO stands for GENeralized Input and Output, and is the format for exchanging data to MOSS (MOdelling by String Systems) which has been taken over by someone. It has the data in Ascii files, rather like DXF for AutoCAD but not really the same range of information. It is like a series of 3D polylines and 3D Points gathered together in strings to describe the topography. Probably, you would find out more by Googling. Quote
